Ivonne Carlo
Ivonne has had a long (over 20 years) and exciting relationship with photography. She first picked up a camera when in high school and never looked back. Her experimental portfolio opened a door into Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. where she decided to change her concentration to Film/Video/Animation. The experience helped shape her style with a cinematic flavor, having the perfect marriage of story-telling and experimentation which merged seamlessly with her love of fashion, portrait and beauty photography.
After working as a photographer in both the commercial and the editorial world for various advertising and editorial clients, her thirst for art brought her to collaborate and even travel with photographers from all over the world in portfolio-building adventures. She has slowly developed her signature style within fine art beauty photography and conceptual portrait photography. She also nourishes her love of interacting with people with a boutique style portrait studio she founded in 2018 called Foto Atelier. Ivonne lives in San Juan Puerto Rico with her Brit husband, their daughter Chloé and two dogs.
